Equatorial Guinea jails soldiers 85 years for homocide, negligence

Two soldiers in Equatorial Guinea have been sentenced to 85 years in prison for homicide and negligence. 

They were found guilty of homocide and negligence over an explosion at a military camp.

According to local media reports in EquatorialGuinea, the explosion killed some 107 people.

Reports say the military court in Equatorial Guinea’s economic capital, Bata jailed Lieutenant-Colonel Valentin Nzang Ega, the head of the camp, for 35 years and jailed Corporal Jose Antonio Obama Nsue for 50 years.

It would be recalled that the explosion  occurred on March 17 this year.
