We Didn’t Plan For The Future Of The Movie Industry – Ziggy Netteyson

Ghanaian renowned legendary actor Ziggy Netteyson stated emphatically that “the early moviemakers who started the Ghana Movie Industry did not plan for the future of the Ghana Movie Industry and even how the would survive after becoming veterans” in an interview  with Obaatanpa FM earlier last week

Ziggy Netteyson also stated that they found it necessary to revive the movie industry’s heat after realizing that the Nigerian movie industry was booming, of which Miracle Films was then set up In Ghana which was in Kumasi to be precise. Again he stated that the movie industry came down because most of them didn’t train and just woke up to act movies just because they felt like they were talented.

The renowned actor also stated correspondently that a new pension scheme has been set up for all members of the Ghana Moviemakers Guild of which he is also a member in order to prevent veteran actors from going bankrupt after retirement. And also Movie Producers are not supposed to sell forms or take money from actors before they shoot a movie since the actors and actresses are working for the Producer’s own good and pocket and made mention that a team would be set up from the Ghana Movie Makers Federation which will ensure this.
