The Speaker Of Parliament Is The Causative Agent Of The Chaos And Absurd Happenings In Parliament – NPPYO’s Organizer Slams Bagbin

The Acting National Deputy Organizer of New Patriotic Party Youth Organization (NPPYO), Hon. Daniel Duah has carefully assigned the cause of the chaotic happenings in the house of Parliament to the Speaker Rt.Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

According to the Deputy Organizer of the Organization, the Speaker of the house been a master of constitutionally law, know perfectly sure that it was not constitutionally right as the Article 104(1) is the constitution state it emphatically, to put a question for voting to the floor of the house and have ruling on it without the house having the required number for voting. We still do not know what actually informed his decision to do what he did on the twentieth sitting of the third meeting of Parliament.

“The acts by the speaker to intentionally frustrate both the house of Parliament and the arm of government are not in the right direction and would not be condoned by we the youth in Ghana. There have been several occasions that Rt.Hon. Bagbin have tried showcasing his power to the President and some other institution which is unnecessary for a country like ours which needs a head up for development. He was elected as Speaker to chair the conduction of parliamentary business for the greater goal of the nation and not to let everyone know how powerful he is “he lamented.

Finally, the Organizer concluded that it is only the Hon. Speaker who can put a stop to the current drama and chaos hence calls on him to respectfully correct the mess he started in the first place and let an order be in the house for effective business to resume if he has the nation at heart as he always claim.
