He knows you’ll expose his sakawa gang- A Plus to PC Appiah Ofori

Controversial Musician, A Plus born Kwame Obeng Asare believes President Akufo-Addo refused to reply PC Appiah Ofori’s letter to be made a Board Member for the Office of The Special Prosecutor because he knows he will expose his corrupt appointees.

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency PC Appiah Ofori in an interview with Accra-based TV 3 said he has called the President since the party came to power to no avail.

He also said that when he herd that the office of the Special Prosecutor was set up he wrote a letter asking the President to allow him serve in the office to help fight corruption.

However, to his amazement, his calls to the President has never gone through neither did the President reply his letter he wrote to him.

“Either he has blocked my line or changed his line. If I call him it doesn’t go [through]. I personally petitioned Akufo-Addo that I wanted to be sent to the board if the [Office of] Special Prosecutor so that I will become the investigator but no response from him.

“I wrote the letter as soon as the Special Prosecutor was appointed. I just wanted to go there to investigate all these Auditor General’s reports. Some of the Auditor General’s reports are not comprehensive enough.”

But reacting to the report, A Plus who has been leading the fight against corrupt government officials and educating Ghanaians to ask for accountability from the government said the President is hell bent on protecting his corrupt appointees so he will never accept PC Appiah Ofori at the Special Prosecutor’s office.

He said “Akufo Addo will not put you on the board because he knows you will expose his sakawa people”.
