I Am Finding It Difficult To Understand NPP”- Kwesi Pratt Jnr

The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has stated that he has been crying all day since the 2021 budget was read because he is finding it difficult to understand NPP party after GUTA, GAWU angry at government.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on Pan African TV morning show today has stated that why is the government introducing “reckless taxes” to put burden on the people of Ghana after themselves told them in 2016 that they are moving from taxation to production.

According to the veteran Journalist, Vice President Bawumia in 2016 stated that taxing the people is poor man’s approach, and NDC government then is killing the people but what have changed now before this taxes are been introduced to burden Ghanaians again.View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

He said the trade unions are crying but government is not looking at them on the show.

According to Kwesi Pratt Jnr, what worried him is that Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP government is taxing the people equally without having mercy on the poor in the society.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr regretted joining Nana Akufo-Addo in some years back to demonstrate against VAT increment which saw some people dead in that process. He apologised to the lost family members and told their families that he is embarrassed because of what is happening today under leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo.

” I have been crying all days since 2021 budget was read because I don’t know why the government is introducing new taxes to tax the venerable. I am finding it difficult to understand NPP because I was part of them some years ago and part of them in demonstrating against VAT increment by a government in some years and am embarrassed today.
