MMDCE Appointment: Abuakwa North Obeng Mensah Is Our Hope – Residents

Residents of Akyem Abuakwa North constituency in the Eastern Region wish to petition His Excellency, the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to appoint Kofi Obeng Mensah as the next MCE for the Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly.

According to Dufa , a decision to reject Kofi Obeng Mensah will be the most unfortunate decision and a travesty of Justice to the people of Osiem, Old Tafo, Anyinasin, New Tafo , Atukrom , Tontro and Abuakwa North as a whole.

Dufa speaking to the media said, ” Abuakwa North constituency is one of the key strongholds of the NPP which has over years contributed massively to NPP electoral Fortunes since Prof. Albert Adu Boahen regime to president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo regime in terms of voters and voting.

We are pleading to the president to accept our plead and appoint Kofi Obeng Mensah for us.

Kofi Obeng Mensah is a resourceful, a proven team player, a grassroots person with an upright character and has good human relation.

Kofi Obeng Mensah is a grandson of professor Emeratus Albert Adu Boahen, who led the elephant family to raised the flag of the NPP to the Apex .as an acknowledgement or rewards to Prof Adu Boahen appoint his grandson Kofi Obeng Mensah who is following the good steps of his grandfather to be the MCE.

Though the president does not require permission from us to determine who to be appointed but as a constitutional right, he is allowed to select a candidate we all believe is the right person for the job.

Kofi Obeng Mensah is versatile and indeed a party faithful, lost the internal primaries to the incumbent MP and supported the president agenda by working hardly together with the MP to retain the party into victory. With the above mentioned he deserves to be appointed as the MCE for Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly.
