Fellow Ghanaians, Chairman Wontumi has pinned the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, to the recent demonstration organised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party has blamed the leadership of the NDC for throwing caution to the dogs when they staged their ‘March for Justice’.
In an interview with Wontumionline.com, Chairman Wontumi advised Ghanaians to observe COVID-19 protocols and avoid joining the NDC or their surrogates- #FixTheCountry campaigners when they call for demonstration.
President Akufo-Addo will on Sunday, July 25, 2021, provide an update on the measures Ghana is taking to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The update will be his 26th address on the topic.
Ghana currently has over 4, 000 active COVID-19 cases and more than 96,255 recoveries.
