Ghana will not have a representative in the CAF Champions league this season as Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the last representative for GHANA was eliminated last Wednesday by Al hilal in Sudan following a test for the world pandemic virus, Covid 19.
CAF confirmed the elimination of Kotoko following their inability to raise a team for the match against Al hilal on Wednesday.
With a chance to play in the group stage, Al hilal came to take a 1-0 win in the first leg before the second leg of the champions league. The game was cancelled after it has been reported that the porcupine warriors had seven of their players testing positive for the global pandemic.
