I’m disappointed in my players because they failed me – Coach Asare Bediako

Head coach of Aduana Stars, Asare Bediako was left disappointed on Saturday as his side fell to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their match day 11 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park at home.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko finally exorcised the ghost that have haunted them at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on New Year’s day as they recorded their first ever win in Dormaa.

The porcupine warriors inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Aduana Stars at the hitherto no go area in an entertaining game on New Year’s day.

A first half header from Cameroonian International Georges Rodrigues Mfegue and a second half clincher from the in form Richmond Lamptey proved enough for the porcupine warriors.

“I am very sad today because I was not expecting such a result. They [Kotoko] took over the midfield. Honestly, I am disappointed in my players because they didn’t play the way we wanted them to do.”

“Everything was in a mess. You see we were forced to make a change as early as possible. Eric Kwakwa couldn’t kick and hold the ball the way we wanted him to do. His tackling was poor and that’s why we changed him.”

”It’s a big blow to us having lost to King Faisal here too. We are supposed to be winning our home games.” He concluded

Aduana Stars will next travel to Elmina to face Sharks on match day 12.
